Digital Television 24-month Equipment Agreement

Equipment installed by Giant Communications under this agreement will remain the property of Giant Communications.  If the customer’s service should be discontinued for any reason within 24 months of service installation, the customer will be charged a $50 early termination fee.  A charge up to $400 will be applied to the final bill for each unreturned piece of equipment.  During the contract term, Giant Communications will repair or replace defective equipment at no cost to the customer (excluding damages due to misuse or mishandling by customer).

If the customer does not subscribe to the protection plus maintenance plan, costs of site visits by technicians may apply.  

Customers who choose to enter into this agreement are eligible for the following as of 2/1/2018:

• Up to 3 digital receivers at no cost
• Additional digital boxes may be leased at the rate of $3.95 per month.
• DVRs may be leased at the rate of $14.95 per month.

Customers who waive this agreement are eligible for the following:

• Digital receivers may be purchased for $50 each.  A monthly guide fee of $2.95 per box will be charged to the account.
• DVRs may be purchased for $265 each. A monthly guide fee of $2.95 per box will be charged to the account.
• The cost to repair or replace equipment will be the responsibility of the customer.

We reserve the right to exclude this offer from previous customers who have a written off balance, or existing customers who are not current on their payments to Giant.
